UHPS Swimming Sports

On Wednesday the 1st of March the year 5s and 6s (and some year 4s) went to our UHPS swimming sports at Coatesville Primary School. It was really cold with the hard wind blowing but it didn’t stop us from having fun. We had an awesome time and it was memorable for all of us.

In the middle of swimming sports it started to rain so we all got soaked. FOS brought along popsicles for everyone which were really yummy. The water was freezing but we didn’t stop swimming because we had faith that we could do swimming sports in the rain and it was very entertaining! We enjoyed a mix of competitive and noncompetitive races with both races being very enjoyable.

We then wrote haiku poems about our swimming sports. Check out some of them below!

Nervous shivers down my spine
Crash into the pool

In a freezing icy cold pool
